About the Bar

The Broward County Bar Association, established in 1925, is a thriving, dynamic, professional organization that welcomes attorneys in all areas of the Law. We are governed by our Board of Directors whose purpose is to:

• Encouraging knowledge and understanding of, and respect for, the law in the community.
• Improving the quality and administration of justice in all its facets.
• Supporting the delivery of legal services at an affordable cost for the poor, elderly and otherwise disadvantaged.
• Fostering professionalism and civility in the practice of law.

We are dedicated to serving our members, and the community at large. Our offices are staffed by six hard-working employees who are here to serve our members. Members and non-members are welcome to contact us anytime, with any inquiry. Currently our organization includes over 2,500 members, and we are experiencing continuous growth.

For attorneys practicing in South Florida, professional organizations offer various advantages. The Broward County Bar Association provides educational, networking, social, and community programs and events that are beneficial to all attorneys in our region. It is also a forum for meeting other attorneys in other practice areas.
